Apple vs. Google?
The whole Apple vs. Google feud has just started, so sit back and enjoy the show. It all began with Apple replacing Google Maps, which is quite shocking, especially when supposedly Apple still had a year left on the contract with Google Maps. Now that Apple has had numerous complaints about the new iOS 6 Maps it might make Apple double think their decision with Google. Some think Apple made such a move to branch away from Google. Although some analysts think Apple came up with their own Mapping App sooner then expected. Maybe they didn't plan to opt out with Google so quick, but do you expect anything less from Apple. As Apple reported, they were more interested in the turn-by-turn directions rather then the Google Maps- Latitude feature. Was Google caught off guard or has been waiting for this by Apple?
You didn't think Apple would get rid of Google that quick did you? Recently reported Google has submitted a Google Maps App. But such actions has been denied. Google seems to be taking offense to Apple's actions; they will not submit a Google Map App after Apple dropped them from their newest iPhone release. Apple has received more negative than positive feedback from the iOS 6 Map. Is it safe to say Google is laughing at Apple or making a Google Map App for Apple? HA!
