Iran plans to create their own domestic internet to be launched in March of 2013. Iran usually gets around the blocks using a VPN software, according to Reuters. So what does this mean, simply that the government has more power to make restrictions online.And as a recent announcement Google and Google Mail will be blocked. Their whole reasoning behind this is to improve their cyber security. So therefore, Facebook and YouTube has been blocked as well.
